Hi there,

So, when I bought my 1150GS it came with one of these http://www.migsel.com/store/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=66

But I never got any screws or fixings with it and until now its just been sat above my dash!

I have 2 usb power sockets below it and was wondering if there was any way I might get a phone holder or the like attached to it if anyone knows of a compatible one?

Thanks for the help guys, hopefully somebody knows what I'm on about! :D

Migsel is a member on here and will supply any bits you're missing, but they're only metric screws so a little bit of digging around in your man-cave/box/drawer should see you ok. As to a phone holder, it depends on your phone ? Otterbox do a range of waterproof enclosures with touch screen capability so start measuring. The plate shown on the link is configured for a GPS mount, to mount something else you need to get creative.

You need a ram mount arm and a phone holder to suit your phone with a ram ball type mount on the phone holder.

Ultimateaddons do very good phone cases which work with the RAM mounting hardware. You will need a case, a ball that clips into the back of the case and a short RAM arm to connect them. A long RAM arm will wobble too much.

A ram ball won't work with this kind of mount. What the OP needs is a bespoke adaptor plate I think.

Danzio, the screws are M4 or M5 and will be readily available, I can't remember which but you can measure the diameter of the holes to make sure. As Paul (Oblertone) has suggested an Otterbox is a good waterproof option and it shouldn't be too difficult to attach it to your mount. If you can get four or five of the holes on the mount matched to the Otterbox then that would do the job very well. As Paul says, it's just a matter of being creative.
