Just changed my brake fluid. It was dirty for sure but this hasn't made the brake lever any firmer...As we speak it is resting in the garage with the lever pullled back (hoping to release some bubbles) but the Mityvac was crap...
I must be using it wrong because I opened the resevoir, undid the nipple..(hmmmmm, nice), and attached the mityvac. Pumping it wasn't as effective as I thought. In fact the fluid preferred to fall out do to gravity than anything else...it seemed connected ok and the fluid did move when being pumped (hmmm, nice
but I just bleed them the old way in the end because the pump wasn't pumping....
Any advice how to use the mityvac better...otherwise it is going back to heil gericke....
