Mobile Phone mounts/GPS

Hi

Sorry if this is the wrong group - or even if it has been answered before. I am looking to mount my mobile phone to a 1150GS. The phone has GPS/TOMTOM built in and so I thought it would be useful to use on the bike, but the phone is not waterproof. I had a quick look at RAM mounts but they appear quite expensive (but then quality is I suppose). I have tried using the map part of my tank bag but it is too low down to see whilst riding.

If anyone knows of a nifty solution.....

Out of interest what phone do you use?

It is a Nokia E61 - the fat wide one which keeps digging into your thigh when you sit down.
