Anyone up for going to Morocco end of August Beginning of September 2010?

some really good trips have gone on from what I have read but i just cannot do that time of year due to studies and summer will be too hot.

too early to discuss route etc but I would like to camp as much as poss, and see all the touristy stuff as well as get off beaten track.

i have a big GSA and no off road experience so will probably try and get some before i go. however am not going to go crazy as I don't want to keep picking the thing up!

just so you know I'm 35 have a GS adventure not a crazy murderer (however we all deny it at first)

i would be very interested in a trip...had thought of going the organised way...but am open to ideas...im a newish 1200gs rider ...similar age to your self who has lost the death wish ....

i dont think finding a route would be a problem but getting good beds would be my only worry..been on a package to Morocco before...and was as sick as a dog so want to go back and visit somewhere other than toilets !

Just taking delivery of my 08 R1200GSA today! And had been toying with the idea of going to Morrocco later this year, so yes, I'd be interested. I'm hoping to do the World of BMW offroad school weekend and get some time on the bike as soon as this weather clears up a bit. How long were you thinking of going for?

Hi Guys, Rich also posted this on the open invitation segment on the main page.

The plan at the minute is to leave on 06 Sep for about 3 weeks. That is as far as it goes at the minute. Me and Rich plan on meeting up for a ride when the weather gets a bit better if you fancy it.

Can not make earlier this year as I led Stevie to believe.

Busy closing down 1 business due to recession and will not have all the shit sorted out to meet Steve' dates in Spring.

September for 3 weeks sounds great. Will need a good holiday by then.

Old guy, 55, Cheshire, riden Wr250 in Enduros but not big bikes off road. KTM 990 Adv at the moment, just sold the GS1200.

yes there is another invite on the open trip thread.

The thinking is a 3 week trip from 6th september. would like to do the mountains, touristy stuff plus couple of days in sahara and maybe relax on the beech as well.

so a bit of everything.

That does sound great i was thinking of morrocco also this year. but ill have to see with college and work, with regards sept, i would love it though.
I would be up for anything, but prefer camping etc etc.
