I already have my Garmin XT, mounted above the speedo binnacle thing.

What I am on the hunt for is a suitable mount, so I can put a Chigee device onto the crosspiece of the handlebar. I had hoped to use the steering column, but the crosspiece obscures it.

One caveat…. I am no fan of Rammount’s scaffolding. Something that bolts onto the handlebar clamp might be good, I guess, assuming it does not then render the ignition tricky to access.

Thanks for any suggestions.

PS The mount on the bar, is a very nicely made Migsel mount, which I have used on assorted bikes over the years. A Tosser on the forum, very kindly machined a bespoke cross-bar for me, to accommodate the smaller diameter of the Migsel.

Something like this, I guess, assuming the plate is suitable for the Chigee?

im off to google what a chigee is .......

I assumed it was some sort of flunky/wallah you could have as an accessory for your Royal Enfield.

Chigee is things in Hindi, so he/she could be assigned all manner of tasks

I now learn that there is a suitable mount in the Chigee box. They think of everything, these Chinese.
I’d tell you to think out side the box , but actually opening the box would have solved all of your issues .
If you decide you don’t want it , I’ll have it off you as need one for my Voge.

Having at last opened the Chigee box, there is indeed a suitable mount. My thanks to Biggles for pointing this out and, indeed, for alerting me to the significant discount available when I bought the thing months ago.

First things first though…. To put a bit of tape to stop the plastic spacer ring from sliding around and annoying me.

Then to find a suitable live trigger wire. I’m surprised to read Biggle’s report that the trigger wouldn’t fire from the Thunderbox. It goes live with the engine firing.
