Mozilla Firefox - help needed

Firefox is my default browser.

I recently downloaded some software and now, whenever I open Firefox, in addition to my home page, another tab opens with a link to the website of the company I downloaded the software from.

I've been right through all the setup in Firefox to try and work out how it is doing it but to no avail.

Can anyone help?

They have made a new tab as a second homepage on your browser. Close down the tab you don't want then go to your normal homepage then click the firefox tab at the top, choose preferences. Then make sure in the startup section that 'show my homepage is selected in the drop down box. Then click on the 'use current' button. Should be fixed now

Start up Fire fox, Tools, options and in the start page option enter what you want your home page to be.

Cracked it! Thanks guys. I feel such a numpty - I didn't think it could be as easy as just reconfirming my homepage!!
