No it looks good and also looks as if it could put up with a very solid thwack from whatever might hit it. I am now in the market for a deflector...look out for the 'booking.' G.

Marc, Done.

Why don't we all invoice BMW for the Mudsling , if we buy one? Rhetorical question, I kind of know the answer but it might get a message across!

Thanks - I`ve never looked to make savings on making my stuff consequently quite a few of the lads do notice it seems somewhat `sturdy` but IMHO all stuff should be made like this :rob

Can anyone steer me in the right direction of the rear deflector, I can't find it on NN site, and can anyone tell me what it's made from?

Thanks

There`s an idiot up in Lincolnshire who makes them pal. Good luck to ya, every time I speak to him he`s pissed :jager

Hopefully he is sober at the moment as I fully expect him to be in his workshop and, like Thor, be banging, crashing and forging my deflector wot I ordered earlier.

Crap flap now fitted to the number plate holder. Let the mud slinging commence.....

Crikey pal that's radical

It was made by a nice man, over on Honda VFR Club called Bilko, who's an aircraft engineer. I've had it on four previous 1200's an it worked well on them. We'll see what it does for this one.

Some of you lot really are aesthetic pansies.... :P

Just be careful where you park it, it may pose a danger to passing pedestrians, I could sort you out some abnormal load stickers for it if you like ;)

If I'd been the size of some of our more extremely dimensioned tossers, rather than being the correct size for a man, I might have taken you up on that. However, I could do with some red reflective chevrons for my top box and panniers. I did buy some cheap ones on Amazon, fitted them to the top box one night and by the time I'd ridden 60 miles the next morning they were no longer there.

I can sort you out some chevrons no problem, if you don't see what you want on my site drop me a pm or e mail :thumby:

Fixed it for you ;)

funny :D

and there`s me hoping to maintain a shred of diplomacy, respect for other tossers perception of `brill bit of kit` and a strong sense of `live and let live`.

when all along the fella has got a kitchen buffet bar strapped to the back of his bike :D

good job we can all have our legs gently pulled eh :comfort
