I fitted some to a 950 adv for a short time so you should be okay. If not you will sell them on here without losing too much.:thumb

Thanks mate I think the set up for the 950 and 990 is pretty much the same - so will give it ago.
Will PM VAL. H.:D

I think there'll be some some nice warm muffs in my future....

Can anyone confirm if the 319 Muffs will fit over standard 1100 hand guards? (I'd like to retain them if at all possible).

I now have the full muff/gaucho experience. Be warned peeps... you will get lots of comments about cowboys and looking like John Wayne.

My gaucho took a bit of tweaking because of the adventure spec crash bars being in the way a little but after a few attempts I had them setup perfectly.

I had to take a ride to Liverpool in the rain and temps of 11c which is a bit too warm for the gaucho but it did the trick :thumb

Arctic circle here I come :D

Hi Jon - I've got my gaucho on my 800 now but I'm not convinced I've fitted it correctly. Which version did you get, was it the 117 or 119? (can't remember the different model numbers exactly, those may be wrong)

More importantly, any chance of a picture of it on yours? TIA... :thumb2

sizes are; S-XL They are each adjustable through about three or more waist sizes. IE I'm a thirty two waist with a 33" inside leg. (Bearing in mind these fit over the normal bike clobber) I use a size large. SWMBO is much shorter in the leg 'only being 5'3" an-all' uses a size Medium though they are quite long on her they fit her round the waist just fine.

If your not sure just let me know your waist and inside leg measurements and I'll make an educated guess :augie

Postage quoted in the price is for 'Royal Mail First class Packet'. I have infact chickened out this week and will not send any thing R-mail until Monday at the earliest now, to let some of the back log go down and also in hopes of missing the next strike if there should be one :nenau

I have also been offering the alternative of sending via Parcel force. The total price for this is £49.54 including insurance and the package will need to be signed for.

Do the muffs get in the way of any of the controls? I'm still getting used to the controls on the gs and find I need to look occasionally for the horn/headlight flasher while the bike is new to me. Just wondered whether there's any restriction around the switchgear that you find.

I want to get the muffs for the winter but just a little concerned over missing switches occasionally.

Thanks,

J.

Do BMW's have a horn?
I just 'left indicate' furiously at people who get in my way :D

If you can read without moving your lips and can control your saliva you are fully qualified to use muffs.

Yes two flicks for showing them you are mad or just let it go for a while when you are fuming :blast :D I accidently hit the horn the other day and gave the guy next to me the evil eye only to realise it was me  :beerjug:
