Quite a few of you are asking about PayPal.

I can accept PP, and indeed do in order to help people out either because it's not convenient to send a cheque or there is a time issue.

As most of you are aware PP take their slice. When pricing the Muffs for sale over the UKGSer site, I have basically given the users a discount plus free postage.
For example: The RRP for a set of 319 Muffs is £47.90 Then you can add £4.30 postage and another £1.50ish for the posting bag, tape, label, receipt and getting to the post office. That's £53.70. Makes them expensive doesn't it? :mmmm.

Taking all these costs into account I therefore ask that those wishing to pay via PayPal cover the extra costs.

Muffs and Gauchos will therefore now be priced as follows:

319 Muffs: £40.00 cheque.

319 Muffs: £42.00 PayPal

117 Gaucho: £99.00 cheque

117 Gaucho: £103.00 PP

319 Muffs & 117 Gaucho together: £136.00 cheque

319 Muffs & 117 Gaucho together: £140.00 PP

Please contact me by PM or email [email protected] before making payment to check availability.

Cheers Val.

These prices are for UK post code areas only. If you're outside the UK or Norther Ireland please PM me for a total price, I'm happy to send world wide.

Orders are placed in batches of around ten so as to save on postage costs which I can then pass on to you. Therefore orders might not be dispatched to you for a couple of weeks dependent upon demand. Your patience is appreciated, but if you have any special requirements I'm sure we can work something out.

These are some pictures courtesy of Tim Cullis, of the Muffs and Gauchos fitted 'in this case' to the 1200gs and ADVs. These will also fit straight onto the F650gs, F650/800gs, Varadaro, Vstrom.

With the removal of the OE handguards (alternatively replace them with MX style Brush guards) they will fit the R80g/s, R100/80GS and the R1100GS.

They are also available to fit many other types of bikes. Drop me a PM with your requirements and I'll see what we can do.

Cheers Val.

Hi There, for those of us who have moved to the orange side, do you know if the muffs/gauchos fit the KTM adventures? Thanks

What the other suppliers offer

As I have been asked on numerous occasions, I thought it might be useful to show you some pictures of the Muffs supplied by other manufacturers.

Please note this is only for interest and reference. I can only supply the Tucano Urbano products at this current time.

1st is the Hippo Hands; $95. Dollars I'm told.

2nd are the Givi Muffs; I've no idea what these cost :nenau

3rd are the Touratech Muffs; Cheep at half the price  £156.99

4th are the Tucano 361 Neoprene Hand grip covers; £29.90

5th are the Tucano 323 Muffs; £47.90 Generally to fit bikes without hand guards. Though I often recommend the 319 Muffs as they have more internal space for freedom of movement.

Hi

I had some of Val's muffs delivered today. Very well made and nice quality. Surprisingly large when you hold them in your hand, but they appear more suitable when on the bike.

Slightly nervous I'll need to get used to riding with them on - something odd about not been able to see my hands...

Tried them, they do a good job, recommended...

However, I have switched to my summer gloves as my winter ones are too thick to be able to work the controls with ease inside the snug muffs. I do have the fully loaded 08GSA and I can still reach and work all the controls and switches...just, although, trying to remember which button is the info and which changes your suspension is causing my old head some problems :augie.

Thin leather gloves don't seem to be any hotter or colder once they are in the muffs....

Thanks for the muffs Val, arrived yesterday.

Yep it is unnerving having your hands out of sight at first but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Wore my thin summer gloves under them today at a chilly 0530hrs and didn't need the heated grips on.

They don't look as naff as I thought they might either, almost suiting my GSA

:thumb2:thumb2 Thanks for the quick service Val, muffs arrived this morning, next day as promised!

Unfortunately I only know they came as the post office left a card though the door, I was over to see Les from some HIDs so it'll be tomorrow before I have warm hands and lights that work.

Cheers

They look like they should go over the guards ok and were recommended by Saitek in a post on XRV.org.
