Multiple IRP Requests

Hi Chaps,
The last couple of days the message "received multiple IRP requests" has popped on screen before the blue screen of death comes up and the thing shuts down to "protect itself".
Any idea what an IRP request is ?? Can i stop it requesting IRP`s ?
Any help on the above problem would be gladly received........

When it goes to the BSOD, what's the exact code that goes with the error message???

(The error message isn't exact enough to be able to say what the problem is)

It should look something like;

MULTIPLE IRP COMPLETE REQUESTS:
Stop 0x0000004 (0x825C7E23, 0x00000D60,
0x00000000,0x00000000)



It's all the 0000000's and stuff we need

Fanum, next time it does it(although i hope it doesn’t) i will note the stop x 0000000 numbers.
Shugie, it’s a dell dimension.
Centuar, read the link with interest cos the only thing ive done differently in the last week is start using a flash/pen drive ! Might try swapping back to disc for a week and see.
