My new Baby! GS TE 2015 model

Over 7000 miles now and other than a faulty battery I too have a perfect one with a snickety-snick gear change, best all-round bike I've ridden too. Ignore the miserable cocks on here, you can spot them a mile off as they usually don't actually own an LC.

Or a GS:rolleyes:

Got my white 2015 model from Marco at Chester too this week.

Enjoy yours...

Ignore the doom mongers and enjoy your machine. I changed my GS TE at just over 3k miles for a GSA and it never missed a heartbeat apart from kill switch replacement under recall and rear brake pads replaced under warranty as the ones fitted had a tendency to wear out too soon.

BMW now use different rear pads on the GS
Only two faults in 3000 miles

Seriously would anyone expect any bike to have a problem in such low mileage. A £500 new Chinese scooter can manage that with a pizza box on the back

You have a point but Neither fault stopped the bike from working and were dealt with at MY CONVENIENCE.

The worn brake pads were spotted during the switch replacement and the problem promptly and effectively dealt with by the dealer.

The manner in which the dealer or BMW deal with warranty issues is important to me and I doubt a Chinese manufacturer would provide the same level of customer care as BMW

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. Seems like many of us are happy with our bikes. Understandably, the ones who have problems make the most noise whilst the rest of us quietly get on with enjoying our bikes.
Had a nice 4 hour round trip to J&S Northwich this afternoon. Roads were mostly dry but muddy in places.
200 miles covered now and the engine is loosening up noticeably
Planning to be out on her all day tomorrow in Wales. The forecast is not nice!! Hey ho!
There is no vibration when using the Drift Ghost. I took some footage today to test the mount position out. I will attempt to put a short clip on here for you.

Not exactly faults are they, niggles would be a better description. Its a relatively new product, all manufacturers have recalls. A few niggles should they occur are a price worth paying to ride the best bike in the market (backed up by sales figures) , and as highlighted, if you have problems BMW will look after you as well if not better than any other manufacturer.

Hope this works!

Ram mount works nicely.
Sorry about the sound quality. You can hear the quickshifter doing a nice job and yes, it's true the GS can embarrass sports bike riders!

Seems less vibey than results I'm getting wth my setup and gopro. Note to self speak to bob Telfer on Monday

6th gear at 6000 is enough for the twisties!

Nice one - got my new one (black) from Paul this week too. Saw yours in the showroom earlier in the week. looked like you threw the accessories catalogue at it ! Nice

Yes I agree with you about the faults I'm sure the bike will turn out to be as reliable as most bmws before it .
dealers in general most people are happy with but it's certainly not my experience with warranty work. I was left high and dry with cannons who were completely incompetent . But I agree most are happy and they defiantly offer something other dealers/ manufactures don't .

Anyway I'm off topic . I do like the wc and am considering one in the future we shall see. Glad your happy with them :thumb2

Whitchurch to Beeston (and back) my favourite stretch of the A49 . You do need to watch out for the scamera van in the big layby you passed on the left though. Good vid. i like the camera position :thumb2
