Test fitted my 17 inch wheels today at my local dealer. Everything (nearly) fits straight in. Just need a 2mm shim to the rear wheel and a 1250 ABS ring. Wasn’t sure about the Trophy but I think these photos have changed my mind.

Will decide what colour and spec to order over the weekend for 1st March delivery.

Did you change the discs out of interest as the new one s are bigger. Must admit looks more balanced than the last one.

Used the discs from the 1300. Fitted straight onto the R1250RS wheels.

WOW that does look really nice, the front mudguard could easily be lowered by making some hidden brackets, your gold wheels I'm sure would look nice on the green bike.

Reggie I think the gold bronze wheels look horrible on the blue bike but would look really good on the white bike ! Hope you can also get a one inch longer front shock to regain the inch lost and maybe BMW gives the 1300 a proper tail light for 2025 or even better a M1400GS with forged 17 inch wheels , the right geometry and 155-165 hp straight out of the box and of course 320 mm rotors !

I have the correct carbon mudguard from my 1250.

Even better, it looks ace in the trophy colours and I think the met green and gold would look ace as well.

You could also put the bronze wheels on the Triple Black and put some John Player Special on it…LOL

Was your old Magamoto pre 2022? if it was, you'll need to change the RDC sensors. They are the same ones as the mid year 2022 - 2023 GS's. Problem is there are no aftermarket ones, need to be OEM. £125 a wheel.

Or run it without, of course.
Or perhaps run the bike without the change and see how you get on as the new bike is so good and works so well , I get the aesthetic value you like but the bike is so new and developed on a new chassis etc that maybe you chase a unicorn based on the old bike and not relevant to the new one , I hope this does not offend but the 1300 is a different animal and hope you see my point (y)

Reggie, do the insurers accept that you've changed the front wheel size from their standard? Not being funny, Just curious.

The wheels have been on a 1200 Rallye. 2020 40 year 1250 and an Oct 2021 but 2022 model GS Adventure.

Did the TMPS work on the 2020? If they did then it means they had Schrader RDC. They will need to be swapped to LDL sensor and new screws to get them working on the new bike. I have all the info you need, when you need it. part numbers (for standard alloys) and how to activate etc. The new sensors don't come with codes.
