Won't the smaller wheel confuse the ABS?

The wheels have been on a 1200 Rallye. 2020 40 year 1250 and an Oct 2021 but 2022 model GS Adventure.

you’ll need new sensors for TPMS to work with those wheels.

Reggie do yourself a favor and have your dealer put your front wheel and the new forged one on the scale…I am with Stick here and would bet the new 19 inch front wheel is as light or even lighter than the cast 1250 wheel you have and you dont loose one inch lean angle or shorten the trail making the bike less stable at high speeds so besides looks and spending money whats the point…I can see it if you want to take the bike to the track running appropriate rubber but for this the factory has to do it right with the right geometry and 320 rotors the ABS calibrated right , stiffer shocks and a little bit more juice not to be passed on the longer straights…IMHO

Reggie have your dealer weigh the stock cast wheels vs the spoked wheels vs the forged BMW wheels...Please ! Only the front because that is what speeds up or slows the steering !

Reggie if you get the Trophy paint the rims black,blue or silver as the gold looks gaudy making it look like a parrot...Gold wheels probably look best on the Forrest green or like the mountains in Mallorca Tramuntana or triple black aka John Player SPEZIAL...LOL I dont smoke but I remember the 1978 Lotus where Mario Andretti found fame and Ronnie Peterson his death...Beautiful car & paint job though !

Any issues thus far with the 17” front?
What is the part number of wheel, rotors and anything else you needed and did the front need new spacers or anything?

Loving it. I used a wheel from an R1200RS. The discs came from my 1300. You need an abs ring from an R1200RS aswell.

Other than that it bolts straight on.

You will have to try and source a 17 inch front mudguard. Mine came in a kit and had special brackets cut to make it fit. No longer available.

Great, thanks! I have the forged enduro wheels so my rotors won’t work I’ll have to see if I can source an aftermarket set.
I’m trying to keep the factory 170/60-17 rear with a 120/70-17 front so hopefully no abs or traction control issues

Your insurance is likely invalidated if you have an accident .
A mate at home did similar to a bike a few years back . Got hit by a car. Mate got £0 for his 6 month old £10k bike .
