Nav preparation not working

Hi folks, my 850 GSA came without Nav preparation. I bought the correct cradle and have fitted it myself along with the relocation bar above the TFT.
It powers up fine, but I can’t get it to switch between the TFT and Nav 6 to use the wonderwheel using the menu button.
I was advised that the dealer has to enable Nav prep. I did visit my dealer only to be told the cradle is an old model, when I bought it I was told it fits all current models.
My nav6 works fine in my pals 1250GS.
Anyone know exactly what is going on please?

I have a similar set up on my 750 GS with the bar being fitted by BMW, I managed not to give them the Nav 5 when the fitted the bar and mine doesn't work from the wheel also.

I suspect there needs to be some element of installation that needs a BMW dealer to enable the connection between the wheel and the nav to make it work or one of these Can bus tools to do so.

if bike not fitted from manufacture, either you need gs911 tool or visit a dealer to enable these feature
