Need help!!

Andris is mobile

Just spoke to Andris and he's mobile again (12.15).

He's going to continue his travel's in the North
of God's country and then return to Belgium
before returning home to Latvia.

Thanks to all for help and offers of help.

Result.

Lets hope the Gogs don't get him :D

Nice one. If you read some of his other posts you will see clues as to why his final drive failed! (its been in the sea)

Yes, Andris has had an eventful time with his 1100.

Good on him for fixing it though.:thumb

Yeeaah

:thumb You guys are the best :) Without you my Gs would probably still be near Newport :nenau
Last night returned to Brussels, with the best impressions of Wales, really good motorcycle roads, and beautiful sights, midges in one camp site was the only exception, I still have a veeery itchy legs:). The Newport in Pembs also is beautiful :D I've done a few hikes around the coastal line while waiting for the part :)
The replacement of bevel took around 1h, i was also lucky that the camp site manager had all the necessary tools. The only thing I hadn't was a loctite for locking these big bolts, I've checked them on each stop, but they didn't get loose...

The reason probably is what you mention, but BMW service center has checked it and said it's good. Probably hardened layer of bearings has been damaged when the sand/oil/water mixture was inside it.
So once more thanks to everyone, you are great :)
P.S. And Paul, I didn't reply because my phone was in the tent, and I was too lazy to take it out:D

Glad your home, well half way.

Been texting as I've not heard from you, thought you may have been kidnapped by the North Wales gogs, strange bunch up there :D

We'll see you next year then, don't forget to post the pictures of the
bexel housing bearing.
