Toying between Sidi Adventures which i tried on today which seemed pretty cool and seem to be getting good reviews on here and a pair of Rev'it APACHE which one reviewer described as a cross between road and moto cross boots.

Anyone tried the Rev'its?

Bought a pair of the Sidi Adventures about a month ago from Helmet City at Tatsfield. Pleasantly understated. Very pleased with them.

Yaarrpp!

I tried a pair on and they seem like a good fit, albeit a bit stiff. I take it they break in nicely

TCX Infinity boots get my vote

Fully waterproof, sturdy and comfy for walking in when off touring

On critcism is they are a bit short

Daytona Bandit XCR.

I have ridden through many, many, wet motorway miles wearing mine over the last weeks and they are brilliant. Comfy to walk in, warm, but not sweaty when it gets hot and (up to now) 100% waterproof :bounce1

Richie, if you've read the stuff on here about the Sidi boots you'll be aware of what I think of them but, just in case you haven't, they are the best boots I have owned in over 30 years of riding bikes, bar none.

Very warm, very cool, very comfy, very waterproof, very sturdy, very well made, very grippy sole and very protective - well worth the money :thumb2

+1 Couldn't agree more... :thumb2

I have Daytonas and Sidis. I like the Sidis better but they do squeak a lot after a while. I have yet to try suppressing the noise but I suspect a bit of wax or silicone in the right places will do the trick.

I wore mine on a recent three week trip, worn day-long, every day, for both riding and walking about and they are more comfortable for this than my Daytonas.

The Sidis seem more protective - at least in appearance and this feels reassuring.

Anyone had Sidi Adventure and Sidi Crossfire (not SRS)? I'd be interested to learn if the sole on the Adventure was "grippier" than that on the Crossfire.

i tried the sidi adventure but didn't like them so tried the sidi canyon and haven't taken them off, a great boot and look good too

Is it me or do they look like black sandals worn over thick black socks?
