Need to lower GS to high

I tried a GS with ESA. With one solo setting (I think it was soft) the bike was taken up an inch or two and I struggled to reach the floor (bloody short arse). With it on hard, the bike was lower and much more manageable when stopped.

Unfortunately BMW dont offer a lowered bike with ESA.

I think you over estimated the value of ESA, a decent set of aftermarket shocks will be firm but complient, so spunk out on a set of lowered Ohlins, remove origonal shocks, let origonal shocks sit on your garage shelf, when it comes time to sell the GSA, then refit the origonal shocks.

He wants it 7.5cm lower. If he just changes the shocks, then he is going to have pretty much no chance of ever getting it onto the centre stand, and a very, very unstable bike on the side stand.
