Neutral problem

Have an 06 RT 57,000 on clock and up until recently has given no bother at all. Over last few weeks having difficulty finding neutral. Clonks into first, goes straight through into 2nd when trying to get neutral. can only drop into neutral from 2nd when running at approx. 15- 20 mph. no problem finding it when engine of. Have taken of linkage, cleaned & greased still not improved. Bloody annoying. any suggestions welcome

Spin up the revs as you find neutral. Give the throttle a blip as the clutch is in and select neutral from first just as the blip peaks and falls.

When was the gearbox oil last changed ?

I have used Motul Gear 300 for many years - it is fully synth and makes a significant improvement to the gear changes - ideal for the f/d also.

Apologies for late reply. Changed gearbox oil. Have just got back from a week in Wales with swimbo. Bike behaved better but still really clonky 1-2". Still can't get neutral at standstill.
