1150 wont start
Pressed button, spins like a good un but wont catch. Its done it before about a month since no problems since now done it again.
One clue the clock goes back to zero when starter pressed. newish battery, new eon 2 plugs. any ideas. gonna take the tank off and look for loose stuff.

think ive sussed it

took starter motor off (making nasty noises), the steel plate between the epicyclic and the magnets had come loose and was fouling the rotor. loads of dust, etc in there v nasty. put it back together with bits from another starter and all seems well.
could a large drain to the starter have prevented enough juice getting to the plugs ??.
