Hi I've been lurking on the site for a few months now and am just back from my 4th European tour on my Multistrada which has been a fantastic bike but with questions over its longevity (20,000 miles) I have just traded it in for a new GS 1200 TE which arrives in September. I have gone for wire wheels mainly for the looks (don't really intend to do any serious off road stuff, I already have a Husaberg for that). I am looking for your views on the pros and cons of the wire wheels. In addition, is the optional Sat Nav worth the money as I already have a Zumo?

Hello and welcome, great choice i love my older one.

Cant say much on the wheels mine are alloy 5 spokes i think and easy to keep clean.

Sat nav nothing wrong with what you have i would say.

Enjoy the new bike, im sure more will give you some better advice..
