Hi All, here is the new `retro` pack from Nippy. What do you guys think? Mebbe cheaper to `retro` a current GS then to refurb an old GS :thumb

A mixed bag then!

I think I just creamed my pants.

Looks awesome.

A mixed bag then! The value of this forum is that everyone is able to express an opinion and its good to see that.

Personally, I do like it - I`ve always liked to `older` GS look and I guess using a lighter more up to date bike and quality products to get the same look must just be a good thing in my very humble opinion.

But I also respect the `purists` out there who think that the retro look shouldn`t be `contructed` at all but rather `original` (if you get what I mean.......).

Nonetheless, always interesting to see all the differing opinions :thumb

I wonder if they'll do this kit for the new WC GS:augie:blast

Soz mate - didn`t see that but yes `mixed bag` eh?

And much better photo`s...............:bow

no worries at all Mark ... just shows how the interest (or lack) allowed it to dwindle into obscurity! :blagblah

I for one really like the design...... :thumb2

Yeah so do I goose but to be fair, most of the opinions are valid ones or at least valid to the `post-er` (made up word :D)

Retro look

I liked it but £3000!!"!!!!, I think you could get a genuine bike for that!!!

I like the look, and thought it would be good to transform an old bike if you could find one cheap enough.
Then I realised that the tank was only a cover,(yes I realise the 1200 has a cover)which made the kit seem rather expensive.

I like it. Now all we gotta do it get BM to make a cafe racer outa the R1200R and that would be a cool garage!
