Anyone using the shark explorer r? If so is it any good as in wind noise the reviews sound good but you can't always get a true reflection although shark have done some decent helmets.

As i have said previously the Arai tour is not renowned for beingg quiet but i find it the quietest helmet i have had and that includes the system 6 and the GT Air

Just goes to show how different helmets suit different heads !

So, after a couple of attempts I think I've got the bike screen in a position where the Tour X peak isn't thrumming. Just need to tweak the pinlock insert to get the seal just right. It was a bit steamy on the way to work this morning.

It's very comfortable with lovely feeling padding inside and the extra weight compared to my XR1000 seems to be negligible.

The visor aperture is very wide. I seem to have a clearer view when throwing a look over my shoulder.

I'm waiting to hear from Arai about the bit of extra plastic in the lower screw holes for the peak. I don't seem to be able to move the peak to a lower position. Seems good so far.
