If anyone out there thinks the lights on their GS are CRAP they will be correct!

If you want to get better night time vision, there is only one answer BIGTRAILBIKERIDER.

He will supply and fit a fantastic pair of fog and driving lamps to your pride and joy using a specially pre built loom and it all works off your indicator cancel switch. No ugly BMW switches on the handlebar’s.

Alan is a true professional who know what he is doing and also cares what he is doing.

I had a great ride up to Redditch from Stevenage and spent a few hours at Alan’s house where the first thing I was greeted by was Alan’s Smiling Face followed by a great cup of tea. Its worth going up to his house because you get a great cup of tea and even better fed with sausage rolls followed by more tea.
I had a great ride home again and could not wait until it got dark so I could try out my new lights.

Well Sunday night on my way home from work at 00.30 I got to try them. There is no words that can explain the difference. If you are thinking of having a set of lights fitted to your pride and joy don’t - - JUST DO IT, you will not regret it.

Alan is a perfectionist, he even pointed out bits that were missing on my GS that I did not know were supposed to be there.
It good to meet and talk to someone who knows what he is talking about, unlike most garages who just want to sell you the bits with the most profit for them.

Thanks for a great day out.....

Would just like to add that Alan did my lights the other week and I fully endorse all of the above (my rag is yellow though). I have taken the pics Alan and I will post them when I manage to move them between computers. I did have an attempt the other night but gave up as I was having trouble resizing them. Suffice to say, the lights and installation are flippin' excellent!

why can't we have some prices? is it a secret? does he try to gauge how much you can afford then try to give you a right royal shafting?

sorry but I get very suspicious when people won't publish prices. If it has an honest price then in my opinion it can be published. If it doesn't have an honest price, well...

No need to get suspicious about me and no I don't gauge what you can afford

What I do is send you a full information pack about what I do and where to buy it all from, then finally a picture of what it will look like when it is all finished.

As for prices, no secret there either, it is £25 for the loom and £75 to have it all fitted, and that the same for everyone and it is not measured on the depth of your pocket?

I also think that if you cared to try using the search button on the top of the page you will see the prices somewhere?

Like here

Alan is an Honest bloke.

He does a top quality job at a very fair price.

The loom he makes up is better than the BMW one.

Give him a go YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT..

Then YOU WILL SEE THE LIGHT!!!

:wave:wave :wave

I have just ordered a set from him although they haven't been fitted yet.

He does have a price list and the prices are very good.

He has agreed discounts with various suppliers and asks people not to discuss the prices or suppliers on the forums.

So the apparent 'secrecy' is actually just us lot respecting BTBRs way of doing things which I'm sure he does for his own reasons.

If you do a search you will see that everyone (I think withou exception) who has dealt with him has said he has done a good job and many have said he has done over and above what they were expecting for the money.

You will almost certainly find that Alan doesn't want prices openly discussed, disclosed or bandied about because he has negotiated such a good deal with the recommended distributor. Others that don't get that deal would probably create problems for the two businesses in the distribution chain before us if this info came out. It is in our best interests to follow Alan's advice. Trust him. And no I don't know Alan, have never met him and have no interest in this other than seeing a good deal on components being available for all.
