Hi!... 1st post here... Been lurking and learning for a month or so, until now that is because yesterday my shiny new '05 12GS was delivered ... Couldn't resist taking her out for a test ride last night, even at 4K rpm and under I'm gobsmacked!!... The GS is going to take some getting used to since I'm coming off a Kawasaki Z1000, but after the first 20 mins I knew this is *the* bike for me... what the hell i was paying at with Japanese pseudo-sportsbikes I don't know...

Already encountered the first issue though... I can't get the bloody "servo assisted brakes" warning sticker off the tank... It just comes to pieces and having had the bike less than 24hrs I'm terrified I'm going to wreck the paint finish right off the bat... Are there any tricks of the trade for getting the bloody thing off?...

Anyway, thanks to admin for creating/maintaining this great resource for GS minded folks, and thanks to everyone for sharing your knowledge and experiences... I look forward to a long GS "career"...
