nice

Thats a cool looking bike,if the build quality issue is resolved on these new models il have one..........maybe....perhaps.....loving the GTR now though its run in........:Motomartin

Looks like yet another MCN mock-up, but someone put the wrong wheels on it. Unless of course, it's a road bike only. The Triumph Tiger must have shook 'em up.

Probably some journos's mock up but it looks really cool with those wheels.

For my money, it's starting to move away from the GS genuine all rounder heritage and has more road bias as per the Tiger. I'm not sure BuMW would do that just yet.

I disgree. I reckon they'll up the 800 to 1000, for dual purp stuff and turn the 1200 into a lollopy Tiger / Stelvio / other type thing.

pah! Personally I'm waiting for the R1500GS FluxCap

Now, that I'd buy.

agreed 100%.. risky move if they decide to go ahead from on/off to fully on road... As expat said given ever increasing sizes and weights, they may be have a thought for a larger paallel twin 1000-1200 to be the "new"gs, while evolving the GS into an on raoder all rounder...

I m pretty sure Tiger and upcoming Honda V4 both of which have no offroad pretentions whatsoever are shaping the gs's future too...

I wouldn't personally mind as with my motocross head on and my XT600 and XR400 memories from my years in greece 15years ago very fresh,I think the GS is a pretty poor off road bike anyway as its twice as heavy as it should be to be any good on the dirt...

Can't have everything, so if you need to trade something, let that be it....

I hope they make it solid with gd quality control. I like it and would buy one once its established that it is even fairly better than the current lot....

The most important reason to have a new one is that you get a two year warranty. The new one will come out just as mine's about to go out of warranty and I certainly would not want to keep it beyond the warranty period. Couldn't afford it...

I witnessed the Gilera 3 wheeler being ridden round Istanbul Park. Lean angles like you wouldn't believe, as fast as you want, all with massive practicality. I also saw one ridden down a motorway entry ramp at impressive speed and lean angle. They look a real hoot, if you can get past typical biker stereotyping.

They can't filter for shit - I overtake one everyday on the way to work. And the point of a scoot that's shite at filtering???

.......bit off topic.
