I think this looks brilliant.

It does look nice but it's not a Supermoto.

A Supermoto is a light weight, nimble, fast turning, small to mid engined, slip sliding hoot of a bike that was originally a dirt bike.

That is an overweight, over priced, old man's touring bike with 17" wheels ;)

Just in case there is any confusion, this is a Supermoto:

Exactly . It’s definitely not a supemoto but it definitely looks shite.

I've seen a few of the Martin Collection bikes at the IMOT in Munich and they were all top notch finish (although the Germanic colour choices can sometimes appear rather unusual )

I’m sure someone once said that a Supermoto is not a wheel size but a frame of mind? ;) So if you shut your eyes for long enough you could imagine your riding anything. :P

Took a new 1250 out today and the new engine is certainly an improvement (more low down shove and smoother) but as I already have a 17 reg 1200 not enough to change for... yet! :D

BMW only ever made one supermoto and it didn't sell. Now you can't find one even if a kidney is offered.

Cleverfuckingclogs :D

Anyway, you got it wrong, it’s ‘Supermoto’s not a wheel size, it’s a state of mind’ :P

Could not agree more . :thumb Also a supermoto has clearance , a 1200 GS with 17 inch wheels ( non factory) is not a practical bike . Looks good but that's about it .

Have you owned one?
Supermoto, yes. HP2 "supermoto", no. Way out of my price league but if I had the money it wouldn't be on my shopping list. My comparison is purely on looks and I can't imagine it feeling/riding anything like a proper supermoto.

Didn’t think so. Ride one, then tell me how crap it is. ;)
