My 08 was garaged but clearly never had any ACF-50 and it shows. It can be painted into fiddly corners but to do it porperly use a proper spray gun or get All Year Biker to do it.
The side case bracket bolts had seized up so strip them and refit with a good anti seize paste or maybe ACF-50 on the threads.
A fender extender and crud catcher are must-have's. Chuck the back wheel shovel it throws muck forwards even with a hugger or whatever. A number plate extender helps if the shovel goes missing.
