Norton Manx R

Don't buy one in its first year - history would indicate that there will be issues.

Fair comment, as its fair to say the original race engines produced by Norton leaked oil everywhere. This bike was built with mainly new parts supplied by Andy Molnar including the engine. Molnar engines are built to exact 1962 factory design but enhanced using modern production methods and materials.

Molnar engines have magnesium crankcases, timing covers & cam boxes as the original, cast from the Norton pattern work, CNC machined in house on state of the art 5 axis CNC machines, then re-dichromated for corrosion protection & authentic appearance. Sand cast aluminium cylinder barrel as original with spun cast iron liner. Precision sand cast cylinder heads from original pattern work are 5 axis CNC machined & ported, fitted with hard "Lead free" valve seats, "Colsibro" valve guides and stainless valves.

As you see there are no oil leaks after approximately 950 miles of use.
it was a joke !

Recently had the use of a chipped and piped Supercharged ZH2 (naked one) 205bhp rear wheel - it confused me as to why you would want 200bhp it was an utter liability on anything other than a straight road - it handled fine it was just too fast, no way you could get into a flow corners come up way to quickly so you adopt a "bwarrrr brake totter round the bend bwarrr brake" rinse and repeat I was exhaused and it had that "one day I WILL kill you" feel to it
You’ve just confirmed what I imagined the ride might be like..I saw a Suzuki Katana turbo at the Chain & Sprocket today which looked nice..I was aware of the retro Katana but never knew that there was a turbo edition; however when I spoke with the rider it was a one-off made by a specialist turbo/supercharger company as an example of what they can do..👌

It wasn’t just a lump bolted on it really looked totally from the ‘Factory’ made, a very tidy job indeed, and was for sale at 10k..🤔

Now being offered by Synchronized Motorcycles in North Wales..To save disappointment phone your insurance company first..😉

If that's what they had at the NEC show it looked like a cheap Chink to me.
How should it look then ?
Definitely a Classy looking bike. Pure uncluttered styling without those horrible winglets.
Not sure if those wheels, although beautiful, would be suitable for our potholed roads.
Does look rather nice
Norton was at the Bike Shed Show and frankly for almost £38000+ is a missed opportunity, for £20000 you get a basic. Some will like it some will dislike it...
There is something about Ducati V4 (with or without wings) that you just want to hang it on the wall. The H2 the same, it is unmistakable, that wicked mirror paint job is fantastic and if you really want to brag there is one for track with 300bhp +. The Norton? In that silver paint job is just bland. You really have to see the bike to understated. And that fck iPad for dash is massive. Why?
On the up side...rep said further models with this engine configuration will be coming at the end of the year. A gentlemen's touring bike? He didn't say...
The Atlas...fck me. Should not have the Norton name. Why go premium and than have a cheap piece of crap in the stable?

Saw a punter on Manx Norton at KrazyHorse last night. Looked nice. But his no. plate has fallen off on the way there. Doesn't bode well. 🤔

Saw one today in Perth.

Very clean lines but looked a bit bland if I’m honest.

TFT is huge.

Some cheap looking plastic on it too

I think the Indian made commandos look better.

Yes, but disappointed to see a plastic hugger on it, for big money I’d expect to be left in a,

“No farkling required”

Situation.
