Yes fraid so. Vibes through the bars have been getting worse. So did the end float and valves, new platinum plugs, and still bad. Took bike to Ocean today and had throttle bodies balanced. They were spot on. Mechanic took bike for a spin and his hands were still tingelling ten minutes later. He's lost for reasons why. Has anyone any ideas. :nenau Thanks.

Bikes a 1200gs with 24,000 on clock, full akrapovic,PClll,K&N and used to run sweet as a nut.

^ What he said. Had bother with my 1150 when I put stubby on, a CBR 600 with Micron and a 1200GT with Aprokovic on.

Won't make any difference to the vibes but will lose a shed load of mid range urge ;)

How do you know that.....? A simple fault in the Power Commander can be exagerated by the can and filter.....
If they don't make any difference... why fit them in the first place..... Emporer's clothes syndrome?:D

Read my post again................

"Won't make any difference to the vibes but will lose a shed load of mid range urge"

I am suggesting removing the add on parts won't make any difference to the vibes that SteveBSW is experiencing but he will lose the extra mid range urge afforded by the open (Akro in this case ) headers over the OE cat equipped exhaust, that's my experience (borne out by a dyno session and report) what's your experience :nenau

Assuming he wants to hang on to the extra horses I would suggest a rolling road session to check the fuelling, I don't like K&N's and am dubious that they offer any power/torque benefit at all, on a previous dyno session we swapped between OE filter and K&N with no apparent difference-other than the horrible intake roar

Emerors clothes syndrome :nenau Nope you lost me there, ditto Kepner Treggoe fault analysis

Try taking the above sh!te off and see what it's like......:nenau

Could get rid of the aftermarket gear or "shite" as you so cleverly put it and stick original gear back on to eliminate the "shite" which has been there for over 12,000 miles doing a great job.
