NT1100 2025 model updates

Cheers Guys
Ive got both seats so I can give them both a go, I find them tea bag seat covers to be really good and for some reason improve the seat comfort a lot, so ive ordered one of them, it will fit both seats,
I for some reason just hate the DCT if it was CVT id maybe have a go at it but even the latest version on the 2025 Xadv I bought I just hated, Ill try the screen, I have a couple of different shape/height screen lips that should keep me busy for a bit, being im only a short arse, Manual with quick shifter is the way for me, ive only ever ridden my son in laws bike once but it seemed like a nice bike but we have had a few roll-ons with my varied past of bikes and in most cases it surprised me to be honest, ive got a wild fixation with warranty duration for some reason so the 6yr on the Honda vs the 2 yr on Triumph was a good factor even though the bike will probably be for sale within 3 months !! but still nice to pass on !! and the fact that it is a Honda sort of makes me have that fuzzy feeling that it wont go wrong. now watch me buy the Lemon lol, this is only a reflection from my past with Triumph of which ive had about 10, Tiger explorer (Engine Replacement) TPMS fault, Service light coming on a day after a week 3 weeks after its 1st service Tiger sport 660 (Major electrical problems) and will probably get slated for this but they feel like im buying a bike that im developing as I ride it, although I could not fault there aftercare service, but as good as it is who wants to keep going back to the dealer, theres only a certain amount of machine coffee you can take
hopefully I will fall in love with it like I did with the Transalp and keep it for a while, Who Knows

I’ve got a couple of hundred miles on the Powerbronze 600mm screen.
Helmet is a Shoei Hornet.
I was initially impressed, below 55mph the screen in any position has no buffeting, just smooth air. Above 55mph the turbulent air returns and is not a significant improvement over the oe screen.
I’ll go with the Puig but they seem scarce - so that’ll be at least two weeks.
I note Puig do replacement air deflectors

I believe the Puig air deflectors aren’t any better than the genuine Honda ones which work well.

The problem with that is it’s full of Americans and there version of the bike is different to most of the bikes here.

Guys did 220 miles on the bike Sunday and for me the screen is ok to be honest, the comfort seat is better but not really a game changer, the most important thing I found was that the snatchy throttle in all modes apart from Rain was instantly 90% cured with the use of Super unleaded
my god the difference is game changing, all the way there I was thinking this thing needs a remap badly its shocking, compared to the tiger sport it feels like an ancient first gen fuel injection bike but after a fill up where I thought id treat it to a tank of the good stuff I actually forgot about the snatchy throttle I thought id just got used to it so I tried user 1 where I had set full power, lowest engine braking, and half traction and shit it was fine, Id say almost silky smooth !!
Came to work this morning on it an again very smooth and compliant with very little or no snatchyness, result !!
Handling is good for a big old lump but ordered a set pf Road6s as Im not a fan of the OE dunlops at the best of times hoping they will be here before the weekend ill fit them before a decent ride out

Interested in your fuel comment. I’ve not tried that yet.

Honestly its so worth a try
Let me know if you feel any difference, make sure you refill when its almost empty or it may take a couple of tanks full to feel the benefit of the super juice lol
Here's my beastie, before the comfort seat, spot lights (now working through dash) and bar risers

Cheers for that, no idea what the first owner of mine used but I've only used 98ron ful and done perhaps 10 refills. It makes me wonder if an ecu reset will just about cure it...has the 'brain' of it set itself up on the first owner perhaps just using 95ron. Mines due its service and I have a pair of Michelin PR6 sat waiting to go one so will do those and see how it feels....

Same colour as mine, I’ve got the stickers as well.

Set the user 2 mode last night to 2 blobs on the power, minimum engine braking and middle traction and with the new petrol it was as smooth as silk, throttle response is obviously less lively but I think it rides superbly now !!
must admit I do love the sticker kit they fitted it for free for me, the kit was £105

HOW MUCH !!!!!!!! £105…. I wouldn’t pay that much for a few stickers. Mind you, they did me a deal as I had to wait for them.
