OE alarm problems (Help)

2015 r1200gslc.
I bought the bike with an OEM BMW alarm
but unfortunately there was no instruction booklet for the alarm. I have somehow switched off the alarm. There is No information in the bikes handbook relating to the alarm setting.
Does anyone have the correct booklet or could post the information regarding how to reset the OEM alarm.

In the dash config settings, it is labelled up as DWA. Only BMW will know why!!

Alarm doesn't aram automatically or with the fob.

My previous 65 plate GS had the BMW alarm. On that bike there was no fob which I thought was a con as other BMWs had the fob for the same price and if you activated the alarm it armed and disarmed automatically when you switched the ignition on and off. FWIW I thought it was 3/5 of useless, the alarm volume was pathetic and I had to switch the ignition on everytime I wanted to move the bike out of the garage or move it to clean it etc so I ended up switching it off for good

Is it Keyless or is the fob just for arming the alarm? In the settings IIRC do you have to save the changes before exiting? Can’t remember, I could be wrong. If none of that, back to the dealer. I had a similar age bike and the alarm just stopped working after a service. Not sure what was wrong as it was turned on in the dash but they managed to fix it. The first thing I do is turn off auto arm as I keep setting it off accidentally otherwise!

Key fob has to be out of range of bike I believe............for it to arm

Tried that, still doesn't work.
