Those that sent contact details have been mailed (excuse if I sent to anyone's wrong -ie work - address, I was ****ed post Kelso while arranging details, so I may have missed such details.) All the details are on thread here for anyone else, but basically :-
SATURDAY 24TH / SUNDAY 25TH JULY
The plan is to meet in Thirsk’s Millgate Coach Park – away from any coaches (behind market place, near St Mary's church

There are many establishments in Thirsk centre that open at 9am that will provide breakfast, at least 5 I know of, (Sunday some an hour later !) Do not park in coach 'park' though – there is free m/c parking opposite side of the road from the town clock in market place, but mind the bollards. Saturday there is a market so town centre is busy.
We'll leave town 10.15 sharp for a short sample ride of few miles to ensure everyone is happy, then we'll be off over towards Whitby via the trails (and a fair bit of tarmac). We'll stop at the Lion Inn, Blakey for lunch. We'll be back to Thirsk at some point that afternoon / evening !

URGENT – FOOD ORDER FOR SATURDAY

As you know we will call at the Lion Inn for lunch (excellent in all ways). In order to guarantee getting served, and to speed things up we’d like a menu choice in advance.

It would help me (and therfore you) if you could look at the choices, select you choice (main course, if you want starters or puddings, then on the day – be warned this place is value for money – main courses are sizable) and post on HERE your details (Log-in and real name) and choice.

Veggie options are excellent, also Old Peculiar Casserole a personal fave….you can’t go wrong. If your choice is unavailable I will tell you Sat am and we’ll phone an amendment through.

That way I can lift the info and call them Friday to book. Otherwise it is a busy pub, and we may struggle to get in.

Sorry if its a bit late in the day to let you know,but, I`ll be coming.I`ve been trying to swap off a trip at work but had no takers,so can only make Saturday as I have to go to New York on Sunday.
I`ll be riding up friday night and camping at the water mill.Old Peculiar Stew sounds great for dinner please.The use of your garage to drop my lugage would be a great help if there`s any room.

Fritz -- Marilyn would like to order an Old Peculiar , and there was me thinking that she'd married one ! I'll not be partaking as I'm "enjoying" the delights of the cabbage soup diet - just make sure that you don't get too close to my exhaust !
