Hi

Quick question, what is the lowest pressure TKC 80's can be run at. Normally on a trail bike with rim locks I lower the pressure to between 10-15psi offroad depending what I am up to. However I have no experience of tubeless tyres in this environment.

Thanks

Hi, I know its not an 11** but I've ran a GS12 with as low as 20psi front & rear offroad without a problem, depends alot on the conditions really.

Off Road Tyre Pressures

Hi

I use my Husky 610 SM off road now and again.

To do this I use TKC80 tubeless tyres, fitted with tubes to the Husky 17" rims using pressures in the region of 20-22 psi.

Regards

I don't drop pressure for off road use, I would rather protect the rims, they are very expensive as I have found out :tears.

That's too low for a big GS, you risk rim damage:augie and losing pressure, I'd suggest 18 psi as the absolute lowest if it's not rocky and 22-24 psi for general offroad:)

I once ran a rear TKC as low as 11 psi. I was following a mate on a Tiger down the Cat and Fiddle late one weekday evening, and was suprised at how much the bike was squirming about. Got home and noticed the nail stuck out of the very hot and sticky tyre, put a gauge on it and lo, 11 psi. :eek
I wouldn't advise it though. :D
