Oil Filler cup

Hi ,I was wondering if somebody knows what can cause the oil filler cup to explode.
IT HAPPENED TO A FRIEND OF MINE ON HIS 1150 ADV AND STARTED WORRYING ME BECAUSE I OWN ONE ALSO.

You can tell me in Greek if you like my mate at work will translate

Sorry for the missanderstanding I was talking about the plug that is on the left cylinder where we fill up the oil from.
His was a metallic one from Touratech.

I presume you mean the thing the filler cap fits into???? If so they are only push fit, held in with an 'O'ring 'see pic'. My ring started weeping Oil and later poped out. The simple fix (for me) was just to buy a new 'O'ring from a dealer. But make sure the alloy is spotless before pushing the new one in.
