Oil filter and tool

Anybody know if the oil filter for a K1200RS would fit the GS ?

And also, the Oil filter removal tool, are they a standard BVM size (74 or 76mm) ? Is the one that fits the GS filter size part no. OC-91...?

Look on ebay- they are listed there by bike type, and part nos giving (usually).

Just checked on sherlocks, and the part no's for the R and K series tools and filters are identical...Looks like a match eh.....

Me must get it too - so far i've kicked it out like a real man from iron age (kicked the nail into it and just turn it off with it ) every time that oil is spilled everywhere!

Some filters have bolts on them makin it comfty, but BVM ones don't have and it's put into the hole that you can't put your hands around it and just rotate it off...

Nuff of that, me must get civilized and buy the ferking special BVM tool

Cab confirm that the K- series oil filter tool fits 11xx filters but not the 1200.
