Oil filter question

Bah! The local bike shop doesn't have the 1200 in a lot of their catalogues, and the nearest BMW dealer is an hour away, which is a long trip just to get an oil filter.

Thanks for the info.

I don't normally do mail order if I can help it - I prefer to buy in person. But Sherlocks seem to be very highly recommended on this site so I've ordered a filter from them. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Nope, just that it ain`t an hour to Southport even in the car !!

At the risk of drifting off topic (!) either:

1 - you know a secret route that avoids Bootle

2 - I ride like a big wuss

3 - You ride/drive like a god

:D

Perhaps all of the above ?? :D

Heh heh,just sparring mate,no harm intended !

Right, getting back on topic,I normally deal with Motorworks or Moto-Bins for my stuff, but last year Marriotts opened an account with Motorworks after my pestering them.
If it`s Marriotts you tried, they may not have had a filter in,but could have got one for you, without the postal costs...........

Doh! Obviously the person at Marriotts I spoke to didn't know this or didn't make the connection. I buy just about all my bike stuff from them.

I'll try them again next time I need a beemer bit, thanks :)
