Oil leak from the sight glass

Starting to get oil weaping from the sight glass seal, worse after long higher speed sessions.

How easy to replace / refit seal?

After many japs fours slowly coming to terms with rattles, vibes and oil use but this looks a little more serious.

Complain..

to your dealer, or BMW direct. It's a known recurring problem and they may well fix it under their good will gesture if it's out of warranty.
