Somewhere out there.
Noticed today that when I turn the ignition on the oil pressure light isn't coming on.

Checked bulb that is ok.
Next thought is the switch. Could it be duff.
Any thoughts please.
Had the bike on the side stand for a couple of days could it have got stuck in one position?
Are they fairly easy to change?
Is there a torque setting?

Thanks.

Locate the oil pressure switch, its above and to the right of the oil sight glass.
Check the terminal on the end of the wire and where it attaches to the switch is clean. Switch on, if still no light, then remove the wire and short it to the chassis/earth.
Switch on the ignition, if the light comes on you need a new switch. If not, theres a fault in the loom.

Any suggestions as to what would be a good earth point would engine casing work? Think it's pretty dirty from a quick look cheers

Thanks for the replies. Followed advice above and put connector on exhaust turned ignition on and it glowed like a beacon. V pleased it's not the loom new part on way from sponsor. Now I've just got to find the right size socket to get the old one out.
Cheers
