At least that means the other one is, unfortunately I cannot ride with both hands round one grip :) And i must be a softy as I have muffs on as well!

Is there any troubleshooting I can do or is it a case of buying a new one, and if so how much of a job are they to replace?

Bike is an well used 2004 model with many, many miles.

Thanks

Alex

I've just replaced my left hand one, very easy job. The dealer wanted £50 labour!

Replacing heated grips

I did my RH one, which is presumably harder, since you have to fart around with the throttle. The hardest bit was spending out the £70 (or whatever it was - about that - for the part). The actual replacement was easy enough, but you do need a number of different size torx bits, including some very tiny ones and you need to take it slowly and methodically. Seem to remember there was one little bolt hiding under a sticker.
Good luck!

Replacing grip

You know what, now someone has mentioned it, I'm not sure if I had to do a bolt under a sticker, or if I just read about it on a thread when I read around the subject on here....whatever, you're doing the left one anyway. I figured it was worth investing in a new one, since I plan on keeping the bike for a while. Having said that, £25 is a lot cheaper....if the left one goes, I might give that a go.
