One more sleep!!

I hope he has not dropped it on the first day... There's plenty of time for that later.:D

No. intelligence suggests he is still standing besides it in the showroom whilst the salesman goes through his 'handover routine'......

Got the new GS and loving it. It's going to take a bit of getting used to and this running in lark is reducing the fun factor. Got the bike nice and dirty on Saturday so it doesn't look this shiny anymore. Maybe I need to invest in a jet washer...

The nose of the old R1 is in the background of the first photo.

What extras did you have , and whats the running in rev range ?

Looks nice mate :D

Just had a new engine fitted on the previous bike and managed to get to L'Derry from Helensburgh with just the revs as stated in the owners manual below!!! Dull, but manageable....

Nice machine....you'll never look back :)

It's a TE with the normal options plus I got the tins, clear Givi hand guards, Crud catchers and the Nav V. Don't think there's anything else I needed.

Been told the usual 5,000 RPM, up and down the box for the running in period. Don't think it'll be out an awful lot over the Christmas period but will get it properly run in during the New Year.

As I'm new to the bike, please do not answer any of the following questions:

1) What fuel should I be putting in it?
2) What oil should I be using?
3) What are the best tyres and what pressure?
4) Which colour is the fastest?
5) Should I ride it in the dark or the rain?

Ha ha. Getting the newbie questions out of the way :friday.

FFS! :blast If you don't want answers to these important questions then don't use the search facility instead of just coming on here and making a list. Honestly, some people! :D

Enjoy the new bike - I'm sticking with my GSA TC bought new in 2013 but I do love the look of the new GSA's, they're growing on me. So I just need to stay out of dealers.

I'll consider myself told mate. Thanks :)

The 2013 is a fine beast; ride it and enjoy it. If you do go to the dealer, do not drink the "free" tea as I'm sure they put something in it that lowers your inhibitions!

Which mudsling did you get , front and rear ?

How is it coming from your R1 :thumb

No need to run it in, just spank it from the start. Just don't labour the engine, and it'll be fine.:thumb
