One more sleep!!

Love it Doc!

Nice one. I made a mistake yesterday taking her with me to get bike serviced. She took a fancy to a bike and bought it. Not a Harley though yet.

Erm..I will await the shit to come my way.:blast

If it keeps the mrs happy i'm happy ish :D

I once bought a bike one day and sold it a week later. :blast

That’s nothing.

My brother bought a Speed Triple in Jersey.
He flew over and collected it, didn’t like it, so rode to Bikers dealership and part ex’d it for a Multistrada. He owned it about 20 minutes.
That went a week later for something else.
He bought a car last Friday and part exd on Monday.......

Meanwhile,Melch, do you find those bars on your old girl comfy ?
I was toying with beach bars or something similar for my RKS..... Ta.

That bike has legendary status in here.

Melch did a great job on it as it predates the RKS by years. He sold it to jackass dave, who as usual, kept it for five minutes. :rob

The last we heard was that it belonged to a Photographer who had a minor verbal altercation with Doris over the shape of its classic luminaire resembling the headlight of a Mark One Golf.

The rest is history. :)

As Tricky says the bike has long since gone, but I did find the bars comfortable. It is a bit of a gamble with beach bars though. Some of them are a bit more extreme than the ones I had. Either far too wide or positioned to put your hands in a bit of a lawnmower position. Neither of which much use.

The bars I had were on the bike when I got it but I’ve a feeling they were a Jin-u-wine HD version but couldn’t be sure.

Very comfy for touring but not the best for hustling through central London. But then I doubt you are very likely to want to hustle your RK through central London anyway.

I wonder where it is now and whether it has been all ‘Harley’d up’ with eagles, skulls, tassels and ‘Live to Ride’ accoutrements.
