new bike ...he's out riding , he'll be home when he runs out of money....
Yes............and no. (I've still got a few coppers left!.
Well, all I can say is wow! Doesn't that 114 cui engine pull!
. After the chap had dropped it off (A2B bike transport, I would recommend them, they were actually early and very professional) it was still raining fairly heavily so it went straight into the workshop where I just sat and looked at it for about half an hour. I know I'm biased but she's a thing of great beauty. (If you'll all indulge me I'll post up some pics tomorrow).Like all bikes there is always a couple of things.......one or two little tweaks to set it up for yourself. I noticed some fairly hefty head buffeting over 60-65. Tomorrow, i'll experiment, try another helmet, and/or remove the screen. I'll do some research online and see if anyone else has the same issue and decide whether I need a taller or shorter screen (or no screen).
The V & H Eliminator 300's are excellent. On tickover or just mooching along in towns or villages they are pretty mild tbh. However, open that throttle and they sound lovely, a gorgeous deep roar and rumble, not raspy and 'spitty'. There's also a nice little pop and bang on the overrun. That is until the wind buffeting takes over!
Sunday (rain again in the morning) will see me with the Eazy Rizer, putting on some nice gloss black 'mustache' engine bars.
I'm going to enjoy this bike.........I can feel it.
