My 2014 GSA is due new tyres very soon, it is currently fitted with Continental Trail Attack 2 which have lasted a little over 6000 miles, the rear is virtually spent but the front may have 1 or 2 thousand more miles left in it, regardless I will change the pair, I am fairly sure I will go for Conti's again, I have no complaints about their grip/roadholding and they are not as noisy as some although they seem to generate a little more noise as they become worn close to the limit, having had the Cont's on my previous Twin Cam GSA they are my favoured tyre of the moment but want to see what else is out there and to see how they compare and what testers and reviewers think of them.
I'm a little surprised that my current rear tyre has lasted 6000miles on this bike given that the bike develops more power and is ridden in pretty much the same style as my previous Twin Cam, on the Twin Cam the rear tyre was usually shot at 5000miles, in terms of wear another nod in favour of keeping the Conti's.
Anyone have a link to an online tyre test ?

The TKC is not a road tyre and never will be. It'll bimble along quite happily, and it's pretty good on the dirt. But I just don't get why people put them on unless they are going off roading every other weekend. Why oh why would you put a TKC on your bike for tarmac ??
