Opening saved routes

If i save a route into my documents from map source my pc is unable to open it again.

It keeps asking me to choose a program to do it with,anyone come across this problem ?

I take it you're trying to open it from windows explorer rather than mapsource itself?

When it asks what program to open it with, select mapsource and from then on you will always be able to open the file(s).

Depending on what version of mapsource you have they will be either *.mps (earlier) or *.gdb (current) files but you should be able to open both.
