I know this might sound daft but i do not know how to configure my yahoo mail to the outlook express. When it asks me for my outgoing and incoming server pop3 smtp http I am confused as I do not know how to get this information. Does anyone know how to do this and put me out of my misery?

If you are using standard Yahoo mail, you cannot (I believe) do what you are trying. Its a mail system you have to use on line.
If you sign up and pay for the improved Yahoo you can use outlook

If you have a Yahoo web mail account I think you need to use something like 'Yahoopops' to fool the Yahoo server into thinking it is downloading to a web page. I seem to recall you set the POP server address to the local host IP address - 127.0.0.1. Google for Yahoopops and there will sure to be some guidance.

If you have a BT Yahoo mail account then you need to enable POP by logging into the account in a browser, by going to options, there is then a tab for POP forwarding. The POP and SMTP addresses are the same - mail.btinternet.com - and the Ports are 110 for POP and 587 for the SMTP server.

the settings are:

Incoming server: pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Outgoing server: smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk

It should work in Outlook Express the same as it does in Outlook?
