I use outlook for my emails (same computer / software / TalkTalk provider etc etc) for ages. Then 2 days ago noticed i was no longer receiving emails. Tried send email to my self and it appeared in the sent box but was never rec'd. Tried shutting down computer etc but when i reopen outlook it comes up error. Sometimes dialog type box appears saying "....error 0x800CCC92 your email server rejected login. Verify user name & password in your acct properties....". Even if i knew what to do i have no recollection of my user name & password. Indeed did i ever know it? Given nothing changed 'at this end' am wondering if the fault lies with the server????? Any suggestions before a silhouette of this computer appears in my front room window? 

.net one for many years after leaving them as internet provider but they wanted cash to continue it so I let it die. Others will only allow you to operate the legacy email via logging onto the website (they hope you will click on the banner ads).
