Pacific North West National Parks and Yellowstone.

After emailing Chris, I'll be phoning on Monday.

I'm booked out on the West Coast trip in September.

Last weekend I rode down with Richard (Wapping) on one of his weekends away to Viandin. I had a really great time. Though this week has been hell, I'm just out of the Osteopaths. I've come to the realisation that my biking days are over or will be severally curtailed. After fracturing my neck a few years ago. The pain has been hell and not being able to turn my head means that after a weekend on the road has just about finish me off.. 3 weeks I don't even want to go there..!

With a very heavy heart and allot of sole searching. I've decide that I am going to have to pull out of the trip in September..

This means there is now a place going, I'm all booked and paid for. I spoke to BA yesterday and it's possible for me to cancel or transfer the flights to another date or person. I'd be happy to transfer the flights to somone else. In the 1st instance contact Chris or myself..

I also have a pile of maps and other bits that may be of use to anyone going.

Ian

sorry to hear that Ian. i hope you get yourself sorted out.

Ian's withdrawal means I have a spare space on the trip if anyone is up for it. If you don't want to do the trip with us, I will have one space in the container if you want to take the opportunity to have a nice mooch around the West Coast on your own bike in September this year.

PM me if interested.

It's getting closer....

Sent from my gadget using wires n string n stuff

indeed it is :D

i have now done a full service on the bike ready. brake pads renewed, battery renewed (it's 7 years old) and i'm awaiting a new rear shock from Maxton as mine was found to have a slight leakage when i checked it. new tyres will be going on later in the year.

Has everybody organised & paid for their US Bike insurance?

Re Cash: Didn't Chris suggest £100 Sterling per day to allow for food, beer, petrol etc? I'll go with that I guess, I might just take US Dollars, Canada being a suburb of USA will surely accept/be grateful for them anyway won't they?

Phewee. I was getting a bit of a sweat on.
Still waiting for Dublin to send me my new passport (been waiting 6 weeks).
Need to get my Esta updated.
Bike booked in for a once over/service & new tyres on 19th July.
It's no longer creeping up on us, it's now careering towards us & having all these jobs outstanding is playing murder with my OCD. :blast

Bill, you will need to take a bit of Canadian for fuel and food. It's Ok at the border towns but they aren't keen further into Canada and they do, the exchange rate will be shocking!!
