Just re-read this.
Is there any likelihood of difficulty with mild nausea or any such thing?
It may sound a slightly pathetic question and somewhat melodramatic but I was in Interlaken for a few days last year and was aware of the height even at a paltry 500 metres.
Mind that could have been a dodgy Rosti on night one.:barf

have you not fitted the Touratech oxygen bottle with attached pop out mask? it's been specially developed for the "adventurer with altitude". me and Mark got them cheaper as we bought two ;)

You won't have any bother at that height Bill because we will have been getting used to altitude for a week before.
