panel change anyone ?

Hi
I have 2 original metalic grey side tank panel trim covers off of my 06 gs1200 (mint condition ) that i would love in black if anyone one fancied a change ??

Why not just paint the ones you have?

to be clear , the large plastic trim panel
painting wouldnt be the same finish as the black plastic .

Ah, I assumed you meant the ally ones

I had my big grey panels painted in BMW metallic Sapphire black, looks really tidy now

Take the panels off and put some vynal wrap on them it's a £10 and 20 minute fix thats REVERSABLE if you don't like it, I used Matt Black for my 2006 so that it fitted in with my mates 2008 bike.

Don't paint anything until you know that's exactly how you want it to look, if you don't like Matt Black then red or hot neon pink, blue or even the English Flag almost anything you want is on ebay for a couple of quid, oon the piss taking side what about a FAMILY picture or PET on the side of your ride.

And when you find out just how quick and easy it is you might want to do your panniers or even do a full bike colour change.

i think ive posted the same post 6 times now, and nobody wants the silver/grey ones, a black set went on ebay last month for £65 bargin, i bought my black panels of here for £150, way overpriced, should have held of but hey ho at least i still have the silver panels i can put back on when i sell the bike, painting them will prob be around £100
