Hi
Ive just bought some panniers on the for sale page.... is it OK to have the panniers simply unlocked so i can get them recoded ...obviously the seller doesn't want to included one of his keys .... but i seem to remember that you need the original key to get the barrels out....or can it be done without the key and the panniers unlocked?
cheers Glenn

If unlocked the barrels can be removed without the key

Mate it's easy as, I did the same as long as they are unlocked I have done both adventure aircooled and WC so if you need help just PM me and I'll talk u through it! Takes about 10min first time then it gets easier!

i bought a set of varios off a subscriber here. he took out the barrels at handover. when i got home and set about recoding them i discovered that my key worked with the original setup.:blast saved me faffing about, wish i had thought to try my keys before we took the locks out.
